My story

American Gospel Singer

Cassandra Peak began singing and playing piano at the age of four when she joined her church choir.

From school performances to various events, she gradually found more opportunities to perform, and by the age of five she had begun formal musical studies at the Bedford School of Music in Chicago, Illinois. Her passion for music, rooted in the belief that music enriches life, naturally evolved into her career.

She serves as CEO of the Kassie School of the Arts in Chicago, Illinois, where she provides music and dance lessons for children who have talent but otherwise have limited access to such training.

In addition, she is active across western Japan—including Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Okayama, and Shiga—as an instructor of gospel, R&B, and jazz, and she has also participated in recordings with Grammy-nominated artists, including:

Pierre Walker and Project Sanctified
George Mays and the Voices of Praise
Grammy Winner and Renowned Artist, Albertina Walker
Grammy Winner and Renowned Artist, Pastor Clay Evans and the AARC Mass Choir

She majored in Music Performance at the University of Las Vegas and earned a degree in Music Education, with a focus on music therapy, at Chicago State University.

She also studied education with a focus on Christian teaching for children at Moody Bible Institute.

A gospel, jazz, and R&B artist, she is a devoted admirer of Anita Baker and Billie Holiday.
